I've been playing competitive basketball since I was 9, I started with my local CYO team and then played at the middle school level and travel AAU levels.
This past year, I started all the games (as a Junior) on my Varsity High School team. I lead the team in rebounding (186 for the season), blocks (28) and was 3rd on the team in scoring (212 points).
My efforts and results earned me Conference Honorable Mention for the NJAC as well as the Parsippany Hills High School Most Improved Player Award.
I am currently playing on an AAU team comprised of my High School teammates and will be playing in a number of Tri State Tourneys around the New Jersey area.
I continue to train, work out and play spring LAX to stay in shape and develop my potential for my Senior year of High School and competing at the next level while attending College. I find that LAX is very similar to basketball with regards to footwork and both the aspects of the defensive/offensive game ideas and concepts etc.
Besides playing High School Basketball and LAX, I maintain a solid 3.5 GPA and consistently make the Honor Roll each semester.
I was awarded the Class Citizenship award at my 8th grade graduation as well as the male student of the year from my elementary school Principal at that graduation ceremony.
I also have been able to achieve these results in both my academics and sports schedules while working at a local sandwich shop and over the summer working as a Camp Counselor for younger children.
I've also assisted my dad with coaching our local CYO team.
My goal is to play for a College Program, that both suits my skills and where my skills fit that particular College program's needs. Preferably at the highest level possible based on my skills and my dedication to improving each and every time I step on the court.
