Devin Mack '17 Recruiting Profile

As a Senior Shooting Guard/Small Forward at Paramus Catholic High School, I'm looking forward to playing college basketball and receiving a good education from a great college or university. I feel that I can offer many things to a program and also make an impact on my teammates, my school and the community at large. One of my strong points is my overall character and the ability to work hard in school, in training, and during practice and games. Not only do I have a passion to play basketball, but I'm also passionate about helping others. This passion is shown through the community service I participate in throughout the year, and during events such as when my friend and I saved a child who was drowning in my community pool. This taught me not to take life for granted and to always be there for others. After this event made local and regional news, I was honored with awards by the police department, the fire department, the mayor and the local politicians in my community.

Right now I'm working hard to improve my 3.0 GPA, and preparing to retake my SAT. My hope is to reach the Honor Roll again this year. I'm constantly training, playing and working on my game with my basketball trainers DJ and Tommy Sackmann, shooting coaches Kent Culuko and Ben Allen, and at the different off-season camps I attend. 

I am open to checking out many different types of schools, and I can't wait to meet new people during the recruiting process.
