Kenzel Slade '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello to all college coaches who may be reading this, my name is Kenzel Slade. I was born and raised in NJ and basketball has been a part of my life ever since I could remember. From a very early age I fell in love with this game and couldn't imagine life without it. Basketball has been my whole life and it will continue to be especially at the college level.  No matter what steps I have to take or obstacles I have to overcome, I will make sure that the ball always remain in my hands.

As far as my academic achievements, I am a consecutive principle's list/straight A student and have been inducted into the Foreign National Honors Society. Next year I plan to enroll in the National Honors society as well. In college I hope to major in an engineering program because enjoy I math very very much. But when I'm not playing ball or doing schoolwork, I also love to spend my time training my younger brother, volunteering at the Boys and Girls Club of Clifton, tutoring my family with their math homework and watching some anime.  I would consider myself to be a driven, mentally tough and a self-motivated person, so you can ensure that I will handle anything you throw at me. Hopefully reading this has given you insight on what type of person I am and what my morals are, so you can decide if you'd want someone like me on your team.
