Hello Coach,
I would like to introduce myself. My name is Lazerus Berisha, and I will be entering Senior year in the fall at Saddle RIver Day School. I am 6’6” and 205 pounds. I have been playing basketball since first grade and football from first through eighth grade. I chose Saddle River Day for its academic excellence and burgeoning basketball program.
I am currently playing with the New Jersey Roadrunners as a small forward / power forward. Growing up, I have always played the center in basketball and left tackle in football. My strength is defense and mid-range shooting. I believe it is important to always learn and develop new skills.
My goal is to play basketball in college and major in biology, with a focus on stem cell research. I currently have a cumulative 3.9 GPA / 4.1GPA Junior year. I was on the Honor Roll for the full year and have been on the Dean’s List. I was also awarded the John C. Alford Grant in Freshman year. In addition, I will be serving as the School Ambassador for Saddle River Day School. I believe that hard work and being a team player are important in everything you do in life.
Thank you for taking the time to view my profile.
