Francis Kyle's ga...My name is Francis Kyle Sunga, 17 years old, born in New York. I started playing in 6th grade, but it was only one year later when I became the captain of my team as a 7th grader in Saint Philip Preparatory School. Soon after that I went to play for different coaches that made names in the history of Basketball such as Coach Dale Singson of the Philippine Basketball Association and Coach Terrence Petree of the University of North Carolina.
Recently, I played with Family DC where we had a remarkable run in North Atlantic Basketball Academy and made it to the semifinals. My Coach at this event was Mr. Teddy Green, the coach of Team Durant. I also played for the NJ Blue Chips coached by Mr. Will Riley, the coach of Immaculate Concept High School who is well known for producing top D1 talents. On his team, we faced many top players such as ESPN's top 100 Taahad Petiford. I then played for the UAA team Hilltoppers, alongside top recruits: top 25 in the state Hazir Lee, Raymond Ezike, and Tyler Koenig. Coming into my senior year at Passaic County Technical Institute in Wayne New Jersey, our school is expected to win a county title and hopefully win a state title as well.
My realistic athletic goals are to continue playing the sport I love at the next level. Another goal of mine is to make an impact on the team and to be an example to those after me. On-the-court, I work diligently with my teammates, coaches and trainers making sure that we play as a team and accomplish team goals.
Basketball for me is not just a game, it is my life!
