Nick Flanagan '18 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Nick Flanagan and I am very interested in playing basketball at the collegiate level. I am a junior at Whippany Park High School in Whippany,NJ. I am 6"6and weigh in around 230lbs. From a very young age, I have developed a strong love for the game and I do not intend on that changing anytime soon. I play for my high schools varsity team as well as aau . I currently play for the NJ Thunder. There are many reasons on why you should consider me for your program. I am a dedicated student athlete who strives to work hard in the class room, as well as on the basketball court. I am a very reliable person who can be counted on to help with anything. I am also very responsible. I take accountability for my actions and I take constructive criticism very well and learn off of past expieriences. Another reason why you should consider me is because I love my teammates and my first priority is winning, and winning only. I don't take loses very lightly and I hold on to loses for a long time. I love supporting my teammates and watching them do spectacular things on the court and playing along side them. That shows on the court as well. I love getting my teammates involved in the game whenever I am on the court.  Whether I am setting screens to open up other shooters on the court, or assisting them, I am a firm believer that team basketball is good basketball. Not many recruits can talk about how much they like being a good teammate and actually mean it. If I'm on the bench, or on the court, I'm focused more on winning than personal accolades and that is why I should be strongly considered for you program. I am also a very friendly and open kid. Basketball is my love, but once I go to college, I want to do things that help your college look good off the court as well. For the past 3 years of high school, I have been apart of my Schools Italian club. I am very active off the court. Thank you for taking the time to view my page and considering me for your program.
