2022 SpotlightDear Coaches,
I am excited and preparing myself for college by all means necessary especially academically. My goals in college are to win a championship and be a great team leader and great college student athlete in history. My aspirations are to work on building my stamina to play fast paced basketball I also am currently working on my right hand to lay the ball strong with my non dominant hand and eventually work on shooting with my right hand. My optomistic acts come from a close and great teacher that unfortunately passed away, Mr.o always wanted me to keep my head up and keep my composure because my basketball talent will take me far. I would love and be glad to invite recruiters to lehman high school varsity basketball games to get a better view and understanding of my craft. One thing that makes a difference in recruiting is my main focus, confidence on the court and the positive energy to spread to my teammates even when times are tough on the court. I have a high expectation as a teammate and team player. All my teammates should be ready to practice and focus during this time because minutes are earned and not given away, so if the work effort is not there you‘re not being productive and utilizing time to become a basketball player wisely. “Whatever you do in practice follows you in games“, Coach Rivera tells my teammates and I in practice. I keep this in mind and everyday Monday to Sunday is nothing but basketball mentality, nothing more, nothing less. I volunteered to be a PGC leader in Bronx River High School which stands for Peer Group Connection. I mentor the freshman and welcome them into high school. By doing this, I learn how to make them feel welcome and confident to become great academically, mentally, most importantly, as a person with great thinking skills and str intentions of spreading positivity to make our environment a better place to grow and develop.
