Trew Dixon '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello college coaches this personal statement will help give a better understanding to who I am as a young man, and as well as a student athlete. My collegiate goals and aspiration are to gain a free education by any means. Another goal is to be able to compete and play at the collegiate level. The person I am today is all because of my strong willed mother who is a breast cancer survivor. She pushed me to become the very best person I am in the classroom as well on the basketball court. It is because of her I am the young man who takes on every challenge ahead of me with determination. Seeing my mother at a young age battle with cancer strongly is what gives me my strength to push forward and to become a better person everyday.  I believe I am a good candidate for college coaches teams because as a player I play my role on a team. I am the type of player that can do anything asked of. In the process of this I am a very hard worker as I not only try to push myself to become better I push my teammates as well. I am very dedicated to working on my craft and putting in 110% of effort. Another note I am a very hard worker in the classroom as academics has always been my first priority. I am the student athlete who takes their education serious and would like to further my education. I believe this is what separates me from other recruits. I can balance both the life of a student, as well as a athlete.  As a student I am very interested in entering the medical field in college as I want to become an anesthesiologist. These are the causes and reasons of who I am as a young man and I believe this is what separates me from other recruits.
