Hi, my name is Amad Ikhlaq. I am of the class of 2028. I have been playing basketball ever since I was 4 years old and really fell in love with the game when I was around 12 years old. I have been taking the game of basketball seriously for about 2 years now, and along the way I have made mistakes which I have learned from. I am a 5'7 140 pound guard which can knock down shots from inside and outside the arc with ease. I have great court vision which makes it easy for me to read the defense and make great plays which can get me and my team an easy bucket. My defense is also excellent, usually resulting in a steal, block, or turnover. Everyday I work towards my goals of becoming a professional basketball player. One great way to do that is through college, because most people who want to go pro but dont go to college usually miss out on the pro experience. My work ethic and drive towards being a college basketball player grows and grows everyday, with my daily routine usually consisting of 2-3 workouts a day, for 5 days. But still, I am not perfect. I have a lot to achieve and work on still throughout my basketball journey. What separates me from other athletes is I have amazing IQ not only on the court but off the court. My 8th grade year I had a 90 average while taking honors classes. I look foward to taking AP and Dual Enrollment classes in High school, with the goal of achieving at least a 3.5 GPA.
Sincerely, Amad.
