Taylor Huyghue '17 Recruiting Profile

I have played basketball all my life. I continue to work hard and push myself beyond my limits. I have grown so much athletically and academically because of my love for basketball. My high school requires a two hour commute each way. My days begin at 5:30AM to arrive at school. After school I study, do homework and then attend practice or the gym on days there is no practice. I arrive home between 8:00PM and 11:00PM depending on practice times. In addition to being an athlete, my education is extremely important. I have a 3.25 GPA and I am going to major in premed.

I think I would be a great candidate for your school because I am determined, dedicated and a hard worker. I am mature and I have learned that nothing comes easy. You have to work for what you want to accomplish. Through my basketball career I have learned how to lead a team and this has also helped me with my interaction with my classmen.
