I have been playing volleyball since I was 12 years old. When I first stepped on the court, I had the light in my eyes to play at the collegiate level. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime, and always a dream to become part of a team, to work with others. I am a main setter but I also know how to play the other positions as well...
I have quick movement when we receive, making sure to call out for plays/who has the ball. I also have a high jump when it comes to set to my teammates, making them access a good set before sending it to the other side. I am a team leader and try to show good examples to recruits, and I always help teammates out when needed, to make sure everyone can work as one huge family. I always work to my full potential and making sure I have room to grow as an individual and as a teammate.
In classes, I study and work hard and maintain a high GPA, and on the side, I teach at my dance studio as well as being a member of the national honor society and the Jr one in middle school as well and being a part of honor classes and AP classes.
I want to attend a college where not only to push my grades and athletic abilities but to find a match with the highest level of competitions, to always be able to push myself and become a better player and a role model. I hope not only to make my parents proud but all my peers and teachers who helped me on this journey. As a long-term goal, I want to grow as an individual and be a role model for those who look up to me.
