Ever since I was a young kid shooting shots on my driveway, my goal was always to go far and be the best basketball player I could possibly be. Now, my goal is to play basketball at a college where I can grow and compete alongside teammates who share that same “dog” mentality. I am a 6’3, 180 lb shooting guard for Clarkstown North Hs (Class of 2026), I pride myself in my shooting, passing, and hustle on defense. But what I believe separates me from most is my work ethic, I’m a gym rat who is always looking to improve and will do whatever it takes to help my team win, whether that’s scoring, making the extra pass, or diving for loose balls. I’m a player who will mold my game into whatever the team needs. From playing varsity as a sophomore to now, I’ve used constructive criticism and feedback from my coaches and I’ve worked to make improvements in all aspects of my game in order to help the team win. I‘m coachable, a student of the game and a sponge when given the opportunity to learn and grow. I’m a player who sits and watches film back for hours to breakdown games and look for ways to improve my game and the team as a whole. I’m a vocal leader both offensively and defensively on the court as well.
After the pandemic, I decided to fully put my efforts towards basketball and see how far I could go. For the past 4 years I’ve spend countless hours in gyms perfecting my craft. I’ve lived in gyms during the past few summers, doing 2-3 workouts a day everyday with my trainer. During my junior season I continued to work, whenever I felt my shot was off or I had a bad shooting day, I would come back at night and shoot in the gym until it felt right. Im a player who’s fueled by failure and you can find me in the gym making thousands of shots on any given day. Basketball is my passion and has shaped who I am as a person both on and off the floor.
I‘m looking for a program preferably on the east coast that values hard work, accountability, and development both on the court and in the classroom. I want to play for a coach that is willing to make the same sacrifices as his players when it comes to helping us develop and get one percent better each day. I want to be part of a team where I can work for everything and compete.
