Shea Barber '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Shea Barber, and I am a 6’3“ Shooting Guard.  I go to Unatego Central High School, which is in Upstate New York, where I play Football, Baseball and Basketball.  School is very enjoyable to me and I am a good student.  I have totaled 1,319 Varsity Points in my Career.  As a Senior I was named to the NYS Class C All-State 4th Team.  I was projected to reach 1000 in my Junior Season but due to the Pandemic, my season was limited to just 9 games.  During my Sophomore and Senior Seasons, I was able to lead our team to be State Ranked in NYS Class C.  I also play AAU Basketball for a team out of Binghamton NY.  The AAU program is called Pinnacle Hoops Development and my team’s name is Interstate Basketball.  Over the course of my AAU career, I have been able to play in multiple areas that include New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.  I am trying to use basketball to further my education and get a college degree.  I have a great work ethic because I want to improve in any way possible and am told that I am very coachable.  I believe I have a great outside shot along with the ability to play strong around the basket on both ends of the floor.
