KJ Anderson '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'7" power forward/point guard from Long Island, New York who aspires to play at the college level. I am a great candidate for your team because I am a leader and an outstanding teammate. I am coachable and have a positive attitude. I am different from other recruits because I am willing to listen to correction and apply it to my game. I am also an extremely hard worker and look to help push my teammates to their highest potential. As a captain on both Varsity Basketball and  Varsity Volleyball, I know what it takes to set goals and work to achieve them. I work hard on both sides on the floor and lead my teams by example and through a good attitude and strong work ethic. In school I am an honor roll student, take AP courses, and have grades 90 and above in all classes. I have also received the 2024 Athlete of the Year Award at The Knox School. While the physical component to my game is extremely important, I am aware of how crucial a strong mental game is. My meditation practice allows me to stay focused and calm both on and off the court.
