Barry Marrow '22 Recruiting Profile

I am Barry "BJ" Marrow, a rising Junior at Research Triangle High School in Durham, NC. While I genuinely love basketball, I understand the value of my education, therefore I am a student first, athlete second. I put as much effort in academics as I do on the court. I don't give up, often pushing myself to my physical limits. I started playing basketball in 7th grade and according to my coaches, I have improved significantly. I have had some great coaches, who have not only helped improve my skills, but have instilled in me that I alone am nothing without my team. Therefore, I consider my teams a "brotherhood" in a sense. On my teams, I have learned not to shy away from being a "leader," even if I'm not in an official leadership role. I am learning to encourage and motivate my team, even when times are tough. I love Basketball.
