Drew Easter '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Drew Easter.  I have always had a passion for sports and a natural athletic ability.  I've played sports since I was 4 years old, but basketball and football have become the ones I am most passionate about.  I am a dedicated athlete and a hard worker.  I play on my school basketball team, an AAU basketball team, and work one-on-one with a personal trainer to keep my body in top competitive condition.  I always push myself to do more than my coaches ask of me.  Outside of the gym, I continue to practice on my own to improve my shooting form, ball handling, and basketball technique.  I am a leader on the court and with my teammates. I use my big stature to play defense to the fullest.  I position myself not to allow players to get to the rim, and use my large hands and 6'9" wingspan to my advantage to get many blocks and steals.  On offense, I can post up any other player of any size to get the easy basket and obtain any rebound.  I listen intently to the critiques from my coaches and work to improve myself as a player.  My teammates are like family.  I am sure to encourage, support, and assist them in all situations.

I am also very competitive in the classroom.  I always challenge myself to do the very best in my academics.  I take school and my grades very seriously.  As a result of my hard work, I am a straight-A student and am in all advanced classes.  My strongest areas are math and technology, and would like to pursue a major in one of those fields.
