Hi. My name is Alperen Ulker. I came to USA from Turkey, Istanbul on 2015 to play basketball in a high school and college team. I was born on 26 January 2001 and I'm 17 years old. I started to play basketball 5 years ago in Turkey. I was chosen to attend the selection process of Turkish National Basketball Team U14 and U15.
When I came to the USA, I first attended the Spire Institute in Geneva/Ohio to playing basketball from 2015 to 2016. I love basketball and my goal is to play in a college team while studying sports management as a undergraduate degree. After I graduate, I would like to keep on playing professional basketball and be a successful athlete.
As a team member, the most important skill that I have is my defense and assist. I always have a good harmony with the rest of my team members and my coaches. Being a disciplined athlete is my strength. Other than the school team trainings, I practice and do lifting, body building on regular basis.
