Luke Nelson '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'3 guard with unlimited range. As a 3-level scorer, I can fly past defenders, make an easy lay or pull up and knock down a midrange shot or deep three. My skills make it difficult for any defender to find a focal point. I am also a great defender who can read offensive schemes and spot a play before it happens, which leads to steals and easy transition buckets. I am looking for an opportunity to showcase my skills at the collegiate level. I have a strong work ethic and will do whatever is required to help my team win ballgames. 

Off the court, I excel academically, taking challenging courses and maintaining an A average GPA. I am a youth leader in my church community/family. I perform various roles during our weekly worship services. As a military-connected child, I have experiences that are uncommon for the majority of my peers. I am resilient and know how to adapt and thrive in new situations. These qualities will serve me well in college. I would love to discuss how I can play a role in your basketball program.
