Personal Statement
I love playing tennis because when I step on the court it feels like I am living a new life. Being on the court brings out the competitive side in me and gives an opportunity to challenge myself. Every time I play it's a new experience and I don’t let past results (positive or negative) affect my mental fortitude. My philosophy is to enjoy the time on court. My driving principle is to ‘play the ball’ and not the player across the net.
In my freshman year at Cuthbertson High School, I played Line 2 and had an enriching personal season. In my sophomore and junior years I played 1 one and reached regionals both years.
My academics have been excellent every year and I have 4.433 GPA so far. At school I am involved in several clubs including HOSA (Future Health Professionals), National Beta Club, and SAVE (Students against Violence Everywhere) Club
My goal is to play in college tennis team and I will do whatever it takes to make that happen!
