Personal Statement

I don't remember a time when basketball wasn't a part of my life. My father had a passion for the game and made sure that I grew up into it. In ninth grade, I started to get serious about things. I developed a weightlifting plan, started training with a basketball skills trainer, moved my way up the bench on my varsity team, won Most Improved for my JV team, and joined an AAU team. I have no plan on slowing down any time soon. Now in my senior year, I continue to work on my physical strength and my basketball skills. I love the game too much to have my career end with high school.
