My name is Levi Hohenbrink and I am a part of the graduating class of 2021 at Bluffton High School in Bluffton, Ohio. As a Freshman I was moved up to play as a starter for our junior varsity basketball team as their point guard and shooting guard. As a Sophomore I was moved up to play as a starter on the Varsity basketball team. As a Junior I am again playing as a starter on the Varsity team as their point guard and shooting guard.
I am very goal driven and always work hard to meet goals and challenges. This past summer I exceeded our coach's shooting goal of 10,000 made shots by shooting daily and getting in a total of 49,000 made shots. I have also played club ball for 3 summers, gone to several camps each summer, weight lift regularly and practice my ball handling skills daily to help me improve my overall basketball skills.
I work very hard not just at basketball, but also in the classroom where I try to push myself above and beyond in everything I do. I currently have a 3.86 GPA and was on the honor roll all 4 quarters last year and every quarter so far this year, was nominated to the National Honor Society, received an Academic Award, a gold level Scholar Athlete award and the Stolly Insurance Hustle Award.
After graduating from high school, I would really like to continue my education in the field of Engineering or Computer Science as well as continue to play basketball while going to school. I am willing to consider any school so that I can find the best college to continue my education as well as my basketball career and become a valuable asset to a college basketball team.
