I started investing more inmy basketball development during quarantine in the spring/summer of 2020. During that period Irealized what I could accomplish if I worked as hard as possible at the sport. I've seen huge progress since then, and now I'm committed. I plan to play basketball at the next level, and I am ready to do anything to get there. I've also got the support of my friends and family which I am very grateful for. One thing that is special about me is that if I'm faced with a challenge, I won't back down and won't stop until I've accomplished my goal, on or off the court. One of my idols ever since I started playing basketball is Kobe Bryant. His work ethic and determination were unmatched, and still are, by anyone to ever play the game, in my opinion. He inspires me to push myself to the limit and always give it 110%. His death really showed me how quickly this life can be taken from you and how we take just being alive for granted. I took this sentiment and told myself I will never take a play off until I'm satisfied with my effort, and trust me I have very high expectations for myself. I believe in keeping myself humble and value sportsmanship. I am a player who is not only invested in growing myself but building up my teammates as well. I strongly live by the belief that you should never look down on someone unless you are going to help them up.
Thank you for your consideration,
