I started playing basketball in the 5th grade. When I started playing basketball it was completely different from all the other sports I played. I had more love for basketball than I had for anything else. This motivated me to keep playing and be the best I could be. When I started there wasn't really much I could do. So the one thing I did great that nobody can change is how hard I play. I might have an off shooting night but I will always play hard. As I started growing I started realizing how much potential I had to play basketball at the next level. I started training a couple days a week to improve my skills. I am now taking these skills and using them in the games. The part of my game I need to work with is my consistency in shooting three pointers. When I accomplish this and sharpen my handles I know I will have what it takes to play at the next level. I also know to play at the next level my grades are very important. Right now I have a 3.1 gpa and I am still working on raising it some more. I believe I am the type of student-athlete any coach would want on their team.
