My son is a great leader and is very confident. Standing only at 5'7, he commands the court and classroom like he is 6'7. He is not only a leader in the classroom and on the basketball court but in the community. For example, he once before was picked with a few other students as being great leaders and they took special needs children on a field trip. In the classroom , as a freshman he was more on top of his grades than seniors on the varsity basketball team and was on them about their grades. With him I feel he is cut from a different cloth because he is always consistent with his grades, performances, and acts in the community. Consistency is a great factor to have because you know what you are always getting. David's goals are to win a Division 1 High school, state championship , go to a division 1 college, and graduate from college with a worthy degree. David as a child always had to overcome adversity, at two years old the tip of his index finger was chopped off and he was teased when he was younger but he never let that stop him from playing the game and learn about the game. I always told him don't worry son, that is your special finger. I feel he will fit in a college program that fit his needs because he is determined and a high achiever, with a strong family background.
