Personal Statement
Ever since I began playing basketball in the 2nd grade, I have developed a strong passion and love for the game. I enjoy the team aspect of the game and how it takes a collective effort to win. I love the competitive nature of the game and improving upon my skills every time I step foot on the court. Thus, pursuing my dreams of competing in basketball at the collegiate level and furthering my academic career are major priorities within my life. On the court, I would consider myself a leader both offensively and defensively. I pride myself in being vocal in a very positive way, whether it is on the defensive end making sure everyone is matched up, or getting people into the right spots on offense.
My academics have also been of great importance to me. I have always been on Honor Roll and maintained a 3.5+ GPA, all while taking honors courses. I contribute to my school in a positive way by being apart of the Student-Athlete Committee, Principals Committee and Digital-Safety Committee. I plan on majoring in marketing to prepare myself for my future endeavors in the business world.
I understand the commitment and work ethic to play at the collegiate level and I am more then willing to take all necessary actions to become the best player to my ability.
