5 things I bring to the court.
The best part about my game is getting teammates open looks and putting them in the right positions to score. Knowing their strengths and weaknesses.
Another thing I do very well as a guard is reading my defender and help side, This allows me to understand the defenders tendencies and how I can counter attack and make a play for my team. Whether thats reading help side or on ball defenders.
I can shoot. I know in todays game being able to hit the outside shot is very important in many teams offensive game plans with drive and kicks, flare screens, and ball screens. I can also knock down the midrange pull up.
Defense. I am a defensive leader on the court making it hard for my opponent to make inside passes, beating my guy to the spot and helping my teammates out when they get beat. Most importantly defense is all heart and how much you want it, which is my best defensive attribute.
I am a high energy player. I bring energy to my team always on both sides of the ball. Whether that is getting a bucket, taking a charge, getting a teammate open for a shot.
5 things I bring to people around me.
I am always trying to spread love and positivity even if it's just making someone laugh or bringing good energy.
Support. People close to me know that I will always have their back even if they make a bad mistake or need help with something.
Encouragement. I am the type of guy to tell you straight up. I don't sugarcoat it, I will tell you want you need to hear not what you want to hear. Because I believe that's what being a true friend of loved one is.
Self motivated. I think me motivating myself in school and on the court motivates those around me to go the extra mile.
Good family member. When ever a family member needs help I'm there, Friends and neighbors trust me with taking care of their homes and animals when they are gone.
Why I want to play at next level.
I always have loved basketball and wanted to play at the collegiate level but never thought I could play because of my size. This was until 6th grade watching a small little white point guard named Payton Pritchard dominate in the tournament his freshman. That showed me that anyone can make it so I started working on my body and honing my basketball skills.
