Hi! My name is Kye Daywitt. I am now a senior at Grants Pass High School. I have been playing golf since I could hold a club. Golf plays a big role in me and my family's life. It's how we bond and what we can all talk about. I will graduate high school in 2022. I live in Grants Pass, Oregon which is a smaller town in Southern Oregon. I love it here but I would much rather go to college farther away. In 2019 when I was a freshman I made it on my high school's varsity golf team. I made it to State as an individual and shot 191 as my added two day score. Going into 2020 golf season I had big goals. At the tournament we were supposed to play that next Monday I was going to play number 1 at my home course. The season got cancelled bu that didn't necessarily hurt me. We didn't have a golf season, but I still worked hard that spring trying to get consistent in the 80's. Which I accomplished my goal and going into my junior season it was looking good. This last season (2021) was a 6 week season with only 7 tournaments, but you have to take the good with the bad. My average was 88, my low being 82. I placed 2nd in the conference and my team was All-Conference Champions. Now my goal for my senior golf season is to shoot in the 70's so by college I can consistently be in the 70's.
Thank you.
