Shareef Jones '21 Recruiting Profile

Basketball is such a competitive sport that immediately drew me in from the time I was a young child, around age 3. Basketball for me, feeds my desire to win, be competitive, stay active, and fulfill my athletic dreams. I am a team player, who likes to bring about a “team-minded” culture.  I want everyone to feel like they are a part of a family and we win together.  That starts with me as a point guard, having leadership.  Sometimes that leadership looks like encouraging my teammates on the court,  and off the court like giving them pointers, establishing trust, and spending time around them.  

I have worked diligently and I believe that I deserve an opportunity to play at the collegial level and to gain further player development.  I also believe your program can push me beyond the high school level, and prepare me for what lies ahead.  I can contribute a lot to this basketball program if I am in the right position.
