Michael Wigfield '12 Recruiting Profile

I love the game of basketball.  I am 6'4" and weight 175.  I've been a two-year starter and have scored 769 points and had 503 rebounds.  As a junior, I scored 294 points and grabbed 203 boards.  As the only returning starter my senior year, I was able to score 475 points and grab 300 boards.  Shooting 54% from two point range (173-321) and shooting 41% from three point range (29-70).  I've been named 1st Team in my ICC North Division and Mo Valley League All-Star the last two years. Also, Progressland Player of the Year my senior year, Progressland 1st Team my junior year and Altoona Mirror 1st Team my senior year and honorable mention my junior year.  I'm looking forward to playing basketball at the collegiate level.  I've put in long hours at the gym working on my ball handling skills and improving on my game.  I'm the first to arrive and the last one to leave.  The field I'm looking to earn my degree in is Accounting - Business.  I love working with numbers.  I want to be part of a team that is looking to be the best that they can be.  I want to keep learning and improving my game, as well as my teammates.
