Gabriel Springer '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Gabriel Springer but I’d prefer to be called Gabe. During elementary school all the way until my sophomore year I enjoyed playing sports such as football, track & field, and most of all basketball. My friends would describe me respectful, outgoing, and motivated. Some of the influence I had in my life is my parents who taught me to respect myself as well as others. I’ve learned in the past years to be teachable throughout life on and off the court. I’ve also learned there are always room for improvement which has made me the character I am today. I am a self starter and a team player that works well with others. At the age of 11 I was inspired by my middle school coach that taught me the fundamentals to the game of basketball. He also exposed me to AAU tournaments that I have been participating in for the last four to five years. I have learned once I commit to something and work hard in it I will succeed in it. My main goal is to graduate high school with at least an 3.5 GPA and go to college. Some majors I’m interested in are Civil Engineering, Sports management, and Communications. I strive in life to become a respectful, dedicated hard working person, and I feel continuing my athletic and and academic career after high school and college will be the foundation of my career with no limit to options available to me.
