My name is Casey Bazzano, I am a 5’11, 160 pound guard in the class of 2026 who developed a passion for basketball the second I stepped on the court. I was raised in downtown Boston and currently live in Jamestown, RI. As a dedicated student athlete, I constantly strive to excel both in the classroom and on the court. With a weighted 4.6 GPA my academics have proven throughout my career to increase my IQ as a guard on the court. While many athletes are talented, I believe what sets me apart is my unwavering commitment to self-improvement and my determination to prove my worth. As a freshman I made and started varsity averaging 10 points, and as a sophomore I averaged 20 points per game. I was selected to the Academic All State team, All League 1st Team, All Division 2nd Team, and MVP of my team. After transferring and reclassing I now play a role on varsity for one of the best NEPSAC teams in New England, St. George’s. I am not just seeking to be on a winning team, I want to contribute positively to its success. Through my years of training and competing, I have developed not only physical strength but also mental resilience, allowing me to remain focused and composed even in high-pressure situations. What drives me is not just the desire to win, but the passion for the sport itself and the opportunity to continue growing and learning as an athlete. I am ready to embrace the challenges and responsibilities that come with collegiate athletics, and I am confident that my dedication, skills, and character make me a valuable addition to any team. I am committed to not only differentiating myself but also proving to colleges that I am more than just a student athlete. I am a leader, a teammate, and someone to make an impact both on and off the court.
