Personal Statement

I am the youngest of three and have two older brothers. I grew up having to compete with two very athletic siblings. I remember having two black eyes before I was five having been hit with footballs and soccer balls. I have been playing soccer since 3rd grade and I love it. I began playing club with South Shore Select and moved to Liverpool International Academy MA in middle school.  Leaving South Shore Select was one of the hardest choices I had to make for myself and it was a huge risk. Ultimately I found true success with Liverpool (LFC) and was able to grow as a player.  During the COVID 19 pandemic my team decided to follow a coach back to South Shore Select and I find myself ending my club experience where I started. I truly love the game and love my team. My goal has always been to play college soccer for two reasons; first, I love soccer and second I love being part of a team, as well as my desire to compete at a high level. I have been a tri-varsity athlete since my freshman year of high school, playing varsity soccer, varsity basketball, and running varsity track.

My best memories of soccer have been tournaments, traveling and winning games! The best gift soccer has given me is the ability to realize my capabilities and how hard work results in positive success. I have proven to be technically strong and extremely versatile, having played many positions.  As a teammate, I strive to build connections and friendships while improving my play and the success of my team. My hope is for soccer to be part of my life now, in college and in my future.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
