Kaleb Houston '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kaleb Houston and I am a senior at Dresden High School. I play basketball,baseball, and football.Currently I have a 4.0 GPA and a score of a 23 on my ACT.I will be taking the ACT again this year in October.One of my goals is to graduate in the top of my grade. Words could not describe how awesome it would be for me to pursue my goal of playing basketball at another level.On the court, my team comes first.I would rather have more assist than individual points as long as my team wins the game. Growing up I always heard the saying," There is no I in team", and I have always played with that mentality. I understand, that being a student-athlete is hard and time consuming on and off the court.My mom has always made me  do the right things in classroom before i could go outside or to the gym and practice my game. I believe in my heart that a good student in the classroom is a great player on the court.Not only do I want to do my best in the classroom but I encourage my teammates to do good as well.I am looking forward to graduating high school and pursuing my goal of playing at the next level.
