My name is Rickie Bowser Jr., I am a Senior at Franklin Classical School in Franklin, TN. I have a B+ average in my Senior year in high school. I am a starter on the varsity team at my school, and have been for 3yrs I average about 24.4 pts/game, and 5apg; My Head Coach name is Chip Smith (615) 828-4480 . I was awarded most improved player at Five Star camp in Duncanville Tx and a made the all star team as well in 2011; I lost in over time in the Championship game, and made the all star team at Hoop Mountain in PA in 2011 as well
I played for the Tennessee Tigers AAU team 2010-2011
I grew up playing three sports:
In Football as a Corner Back, Safety, and Wide Receiver winning championships in 5th, 6th, 7th grade;
In Baseball as a left fielder winning Champioships at ages 10 and 11
at age 10 made it all the way to the state championship game in West Virgina and finished third losing in extra innings to the number one team in the whole State of West Virgina
In Basketball as a PG I won Champioships 4th, 5th, 6th;
Finshed 2nd in state in West Virgina as a 6th grader
moved to Nashville TN where I expirienced lossing for the first time and it was not fun
So I became a one sport Majior in High School
I always thopught whatever team I played for should be contenders for Championships;
I learned quickly; that was easier said than done, and why my dad moved us here so that I could expirience real challege
putting me into a college prep school so that I could learn that sports was to help prepare us for life in the real world, of competitivness, and challenge me to learn how to be truly be successful in life in the class room as well as on the court
The transition was not easy, but it was welcomed, when I look back and see the oportunities that the path in life my father created for me by moving to Nashville I would not change it for anything in the world, because this is the real world
My High School team is Competing for a State Championship in our Division for the 1st time the MTAC
upon graduation I will pursue Basketball and a Major in Business Administration
