Lucas Pring '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lucas Pring and basketball is a huge part of my life.  I love competing with my school and travel teams, but I also really enjoy just playing  outside with my friends.  My hustle and heart are never questioned when I am on the floor because I leave it all out there.  If I miss a shot or make a mistake, I am the first one to get back on defense to try and get the ball back.  I am not afraid to take a hit and I took 22 charges my junior year.  I am 6'6' but I can handle the ball, bring it up the floor, and shoot the 3.  I can also post up low and make strong moves to the basket or play the high post and shoot the 15 footer.  I box out, rebound, block shots, and find my open teammates with assists.  I feel confident defending the point guard or the center. I take pride in my defense just as much as my offense.  I also work hard in the classroom and have maintained a 4.0 through the end of junior year (4.46 weighted for Honors and AP classes).  I am looking forward to a strong senior year in one of the most competitive Districts in the state of TN.
