Personal Statement
My passion has been basketball from the first time I had the opportunity to hold a ball. I attended many basketball camps a junior high player and that drove me to pursue my passion. My junior high career ended on a pretty high note as we played for the state junior high championship and won second place. As I entered high school I was able to earn a spot as a starter and contribute what I could as a freshman. It was unbelievably hard but I found my place on the team by being a loyal supportive player. Throughout my high school career, I led our team to the T-Cal state tournament every year and as a senior, I managed to lead our team to the state 1A title in basketball. T-Cal honored me with All tournament MVP, 1st team all sate and T-Cal athlete of the year!
Now that graduation is upon me, I would like to further my education pursuing a degree in sports management with a minor in business. I want to keep pursuing my desire to lead others in the game of basketball by coaching, mentoring, managing, or whatever is needed.
I believe what separates me from other recruits is my servants' heart. I will always take the opportunity to help others in need. I also am a gifted leader. If I am on your team, I will be the most loyal player I can be! My work ethic is strong on and off of the court. I'm very disciplined in my academics because that is what comes before basketball. If basketball doesn't work out, my education will.
