Playing on the next level is apart of many players dreams. I'm on top of that list of wanting to achieve this dream too. Basketball has given me tons of opportunities on and off the court. Topping the list are lasting friendships, leadership and team building skills  just to name a few.  Achieving the next level of play will enhance my IQ knowledge and athletic skills building upon the foundation that has been laid is what I thrived to accomplish. This established foundation has instill the importance of education and hard work does pay off plus never stop thriving to be better personally/professionally. Basketball has brought joy with a sense of peace to myself.  I've been told my style of play has brought joy/excitement to others as well. Basketball has given me a space to be free to be the best person I can be. Overcoming some obstacles of insecurities along the way, allowed my analytical thinking to kick in to overcome challenges. Driving and creating a better teammate and player, that now creates the fast break or driving the lane for a layup or cutting across court for the jump shot.  As a player, I can be a coaches dream with my perseverance and dedication to succeed. Along with my silent deadly shooting, defensive and rebounding skills are huge/helpful dynamic too. 

This has motivated myself to be apart of a program that will push me and increase my skills personally/professionally maturing to new heights. I will rise to every challenge given, as my character of being respectful and optimistic especially when down, drives me harder to play my part ensuring the team is successful. Meaning whatever is weak in my game, I will put 200% into making it stronger.  Academically, I will continue to strive for a challenge, as I have taken advance placement classes throughout high school. Balancing being active within the church/community, gives me the chance to be a good example for the youth. Basketball has given me the opportunity to not only be an athlete playing the game I love, but a hope to inspire others that you too can play on the next level with hard work and determination.  This is what basketball has created for me, winnings on and off the court.
