Ever since I was a little kid, I've had two goals to be an engineer and to play basketball while doing so. I know every athlete cannot go to the NBA, but every player can have an awesome collegiate experience, playing basketball, while earning a degree which can change people's lives for the better. Playing college basketball and becoming an engineer both require grit, hard work and determination. I possess these qualities, which makes me a perfect candidate for your team. I am not the tallest, but I have great reach. I'm not the smartest, but I am an overcomer. I say this because I was diagnosed with ADHD and Dyslexia, but I have not allowed this to be a crutch for me, but a stepping stone instead. Having this diagnosis has taught me that a person can overcome any challenge if they apply hard work and are determined to reach their goal, the sky is the limit. Not only am I a hard worker, but I am an encourager of others. I inspire my fellow teammates as well, because I know it's not just about me. I'm not satisfied with only pushing me to get better, but I want this for them as well. Building strong bonds plus bringing the energy a team needs is also one of my characteristics. I believe going to your college and playing ball for your team will be a great choice for you and me. I look forward to discussing the possibilities with you.
