Taylor Kight '16 Recruiting Profile

During my college experience I’d like to have fun, while meeting people from many different backgrounds, making new friends, expanding my knowledge and putting my best effort into everything I do. The three priorities in my life now are God, school and basketball. Basketball is important but it is only part of who I am. I love the competition, the life lessons I have learned from it, and how me and my teammates aren't really just teammates we are more like brothers. I am very enthusiastic about being able to continue playing basketball on a competitive level. I make a good candidate for your team because no matter what you ask of me I have the drive to follow through to the best of my ability.  I understand the importance of doing well in my studies and look forward to exploring subjects in greater depth and finding new subjects that interest me.  Ultimately, I believe that everything I do should be to glorify God.  My character is based on my Christian values which in turn helps me to stay focused and to be humble and a very hard worker. I work on my basketball skills everyday always trying to improve and make myself better not just for me but for my team.
