Going to a rigorous academic school in St. Johns, I wasn't as focused on basketball my Freshman and Sophomore year as I have been over the course of last season, my junior year. Academically, my prestigious school has made me well prepared for the rigors of an outstanding college - at which I plan to pursue a degree in Finance followed by a graduate degree in business.
My junior season was played as a 6'3", 150 pound shooting guard whose primary role was as a catch and shoot knock down, left-handed shooter. Over the past year, I have grown to be 6'8", and through the course of the quarantine, I have gained over twenty pounds from lifting weights and working out every day. In a short period of time, in addition to improving as a shooter, I've made vast improvements to many aspects of my game - including rebounding, strength around the basket, passing and athleticism. I aspire to be the hardest worker on the floor. I might not score the most points or get the most highlights, but I will do the dirty work - diving for loose balls, getting rebounds and defending on the perimeter with my long, 82" wingspan. I've always believed i'm a late bloomer... my improvement trajectory over the past three months has been extremely high and I believe the sky's the limit on how good I can become.
