Ethan Raykhonov '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ethan Raykhonov, I am the eldest of 5 children, and I play Basketball. My journey to this point in my life, to have an opportunity to go play ball at the next level has been nothing short of amazing. It has been full of  people telling me no, and to stop doing what I am doing. I was cut from my Freshman, and JV teams my Freshman, and Sophomore years. I had a choice ahead of me...stay at my old school and risk never playing again, or bet on myself, transfer schools and get an opportunity to play and give my dream another chance. I now play at Founders Classical Academy of Leander where I was the 2nd leading scorer, 3rd on the team in assists, and also was a big part of my team's success in the playoffs this season making it to the Aria Finals. My shot making ability and efficiency from the field is very valuable to a team. Also my ability to find and create for my teammates is what sets me apart.
