Isaac Fuzat '24 Recruiting Profile

"Isaac always brings the hustle."  This has been said about me by coaches and parents.  I have a sense of fierce competitiveness and intensity that I bring to every game. Part of that I was born with, and part of that was because I grew up competing against my athletic older brother.  I played football growing up (safety and cornerback) and I averaged 1-2 interceptions per game, which has carried over into basketball.   I am always thinking about how to get the balI. I average over 6 steals per game as you will see in my highlight videos. I have had other coaches come up to me after games to say that they could not break my defense and hustle.  On offense I consider myself a playmaker - a true point guard who has no problem enabling others to score.  I love fast breaks but I also have a high basketball IQ and love thinking about how to attack any defense that comes at me.  I am a leader.

Off the court, I am an A student who takes honors and college level classes to continuously challenge myself.  I work hard and set high standards. I am also a National semi-finalist in Ultimate frisbee, which is a unique sport in which no team can score without the help of a teammate.  I bring this sense of teamwork and selflessness to my basketball style along with my relentless desire to win.  But don't take my word for it, check out my hard work, hustle, and teamwork for yourself.
