Zech Stanley '25 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coaches,

My name is Zechariah Stanley. I am a 6’3 point guard from Dallas, Texas. I’ve had a basketball in my hand since I was five years old and fell in love with the game at an early age with the dream of playing college basketball. Basketball has taught me many life skills such as time management, attention to detail and overcoming adversity.

I’m a strong ball handler and can take on ball pressure very well. I am an offensive threat on the floor, an elite shooter that can score the ball from anywhere, and a lockdown defender with a high motor. I have great court vision and playmaking abilities to find open teammates easily. I bring high energy on the court and am a leader for my team.

I have a strong work ethic while I push myself to become the best player I can be. I am coachable and always ready to learn new things. In the classroom, I am on top of my schoolwork while maintaining a part time job. As a follower of Christ, I help people come to know God and serve others in the community. This verse is a daily reminder to me, “What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?” Mark 8:36.
