Aaron Perez '24 Recruiting Profile

Born in the Bronx, NY and raised in Houston, Tx. I thank my parents for wanting better and more for our family.

With the transition developed the dream of playing at the collegiate level and beyond. I have been in love with the game of basketball since the 1st time I stepped on the court at the age of 6 years old. It’s like the game spoke to me and things happened effortlessly.

I worked hard throughout the years in order have strong ball handling skills, strong physical defense, mental toughness, and high basketball IQ, as well as to have the shooting abilities I have. I consider myself a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and I strive to be one of the hardest working players. I work hard year round on my basketball skills, participating in school ball, fall ball, AAU, including training year round. The work never stops.

Work continues in the classroom, I study hard and take pride in maintaining a high GPA. I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the basketball court. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible.

I consider myself to be a really laid back person. I do enjoy playing video games. And I’m also a sneaker head. Otherwise, I like to spend my time training to improve my game and reach the next level and be able to accomplish my goals.

 I hope to become a great role model to all my peers, and most importantly make my parents proud, without them I wouldn’t be who I am today.
