Ashton McKenzie '22 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals and aspirations are to receive an academic and athletic scholarships to attend a division one college or university. I feel as if I'm a good candidate for their team because I’m dedicated to my studies and have been an honor roll student since I’ve started school. My ultimate dream would be to one day play for a school where I can keep up my grades (straight A’s and the occasional B)  as well as showcase my basketball skills. I’m a dedicated athlete and scholar, with a strong passion for both which lets you guys know that I’m focused on my future! I’m a great example of a “scholar athlete” as I call myself, because I’m not just any old student I’m Ashton McKenzie. I dream of being in the NBA so I work toward my dream every day, but even dreams need a plan B so if my crossovers and dunks don’t work out I’ll be a Mechanical Engineer.  Some of the schools I’m interested in are Duke, Kentucky, Miami and Virginia.
