Jaxon NCSA basketball
My name is Jaxon Watts I am a 5’10 180lb junior at Wimberley High School. I have been raised for a love of basketball. Both my parents played college basketball, therefore it has always been a big part of my life. I have a great foundation and knowledge of the game.
Through this sport, I have learned that I am a natural competitor and always striving through practice intensity to be better than the game before. I have been told I am a natural leader and I believe my biggest strength is that I can play underneath or out on the perimeter. This season as a freshman I started on our JV team and we went 26-0 on the season while competing and winning a Varsity tournament! I had the honor of being selected to the All-Tournament team. This season I averaged 18 points. During the summer I play for the Abilene Blue Devils as well as the San Angelo Bulldogs. While this schedule can be time consuming the level of plays helps further my game. Being strong underneath, battling for rebounds but also able to drive and score from the perimeter is a big part of my game. I am an unselfish player that works hard for my teammates to help us succeed as a team.
Playing in college is my dream and I believe with continued success and hard work I can be a fit in a college program. In addition to being competitive on the court I use the same work ethic in the classroom with a 3.7GPA. I'm looking for a college that I can put in work on the court and the classroom.
