Personal Statement

Faithful Christian, become a successful NBA player, earn high school diploma and college degree. If basketball does not work out, then own my own business or become a sports analyst. My goal is to go to a D1 or D2 school, preferably D1, with a excellent academic curriculum and history. I would love to go to school near home, so that my family may attend my home games, but if any bigger schools that offer me scholarships are far away from home, I would happily take that offer. 17u unsigned Senior team, Justin is the only freshman on this team and was a starter. This team is associated with Team Thad. Las Vegas 2013 Bigfoot Tourney: Pool Play Action: Hoopers third game was against Texas Tigers from San Antonio. Hoopers kept highly recruited Alton Reid from Brock High School to only 7 points with tight defense on the young man. Hoopers DeSean Dockery scored a game high 26 poits, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists in a strong offensive showing. Jaylon Smith was also solid running the guard spot with great court decision and timely shooting to finish with 15 points and 4 boards. Sophomore Justin Benton (Houston) provided much needed offense with key jump shots (12 points) from long range and stepped up with key rebounds (6 boards) during the Hoopers run in the second half after being down 41-33 at the half and the only time the Hoopers were down at halftime in any game.

Hoopers Represent at Real Deal……Celtics and Tigers Battle in 15's Classic Published on Monday, 15 July 2013 19:57Andre Whitehead0 CommentsThe Real Deal in Nashville took place this weekend with the Memphis Hoopers making a big splash in the 17 and under division while in the 15's two Tennessee teams met for the title…details to follow. The Memphis Hoopers played their best tournament to date finishing 6-1 and gliding by the competition before falling to the Arkansas Hawks in the championship game of the Real Deal in Nashville event this past weekend. The Hoopers snatched early wins over the Tennessee Tigers, Nashville Elite and TBA Tennessee. Several Hoopers were applauded for their efforts on the weekend including several still unsigned seniors including Desean Dockery (Ridgeway), Ladarius Wilson (Whitehaven) and Jalen Smith (Sheffield). Coaches were very high on the contribution of rising sophomore Justin Benton (Houston). The 6’2 guard had several double digit assist games and provided some timely hoops for the Memphis crew in their search for the ‘ship.
