I am a student of the game. I hit each part of the game every day in my personal training and work hard to be smarter and faster on both sides of the court. I have a quick first step with the ability to get to the middle where I create offensive options. I focus a lot on defense so I can make plays that make a difference in games. I’ve been noticed for my exceptional court vision and excel in getting my teammates open. I watch a lot of film to understand how to help my team get in positions to score and figure out how to stop a team defensively. I finished my junior year as the leading scorer of my team and helped Payson achieve their best record in school history.
My team won Region championship, and I received 1st team all region and 5A State Honorable Mention.
I’m an excellent 3 point shooter at 43%. I can create my own shot off the dribble, catch and shoot, and do well coming off the screen. I can also get to the hole and finish well with both hands.
I’m disciplined in academics and basketball, maintaining a 4.0 GPA. I’m goal oriented and I continually strive to improve. From a young age my goal has always been to play college basketball. I’m very adaptable and quickly understand different offensive and defensive strategies.
I’ve had the opportunity to play for 2 different high schools when my family moved to a different town in the middle of my sophomore year. This experience taught me to adapt, and learn from new experiences.
“5’11 PG (This was my sophomore summer...I'm 6'1" now) Isaac Wolfe of Springville HS (UT) 2023 (Salt Lake Metro Gold) True point guard with athletic passing ability. Plays with a nice pace and a feel for the game. He is very explosive but uses it strategically when needed most. Has great athleticism for a point guard and makes difficult passes look easy. His hands were his most notable trait. Elite level dexterity that allowed for finesse finishes, ball handling and difficult steals. Like a great defender always does he talks on defense and directs his teammates. He is a second coach on the floor. Can be an elite D2 player and potential D1 prospect with more bulkiness and size” (So Cal Summer Hoop Review (2021) Top Prospects).
