Personal Statement

Wrestling is one of my biggest passions. My dad introduced me to it when I was in 5^th grade and I’ve never looked back. I am completely dedicated to improving and I take the time to make that happen. This shows in how well I've done at State as a freshman and sophomore and how many national tournaments I've done. I never give up during a match or in practice – and I push my team to do the same. I am a strong student and understand education is the key to a better future.

Training

Weight training

I spend time at the gym daily lifting weights and doing cardio. I rotate between leg, back, chest, biceps and triceps. I also take advanced conditioning classes at high school. I have spent time with a personal trainer learning more advanced lifting techniques.
Private lessons

During my freshman and sophomore seasons, I spent time taking private lessons with a former 3-time state champion from Payson High School. I plan to continue doing this in my junior and senior seasons.
