My name is Leland Hampton and I have had to overcome a lot in life. During the summer of 2015 I tore my ACL in my right knee during my last AAU game of the season. I felt as if the world was coming to an end, but if there is any chance of me making a positive change then I jump at the fact and give it my very best shot. I reclassified and sat out my second junior year because of the injury. This honestly just made me hungrier to be great and not only reach but exceed my goals in life. It also gave me a chance to fall in love again with the game of basketball again and value the very fact that I can play again but never settle for nothing more than my best. So this is my senior year and I am hungry for success and I am willing to do anything to be successful. I would be a great asset to not only to your team but your school and also your community.
